Service Contracts allows organizations to do the following
- automatically create warranties when a product is sold.
- author contracts by selling Service Agreements, Subscription agreements and extended Warranties to the customers
- approve contracts
- execute contracts which involves creating contract tasks with due dates and recording communications with customer
- administer contracts which involves activities like contract renewals, extensions and terminations
Main integrations of Service Contracts are with Teleservice, Order Management, Inventory, BOM, Depot Repair and Field Service. The following picture demonstrates the main process in Service Contracts.
